Brain Gym 170 is an experiential course which provides an in-depth study of how to use Brain Gym ® with children and adults of ALL abilities, with specific modifications for those with special needs such as autism, cerebral palsy, attention deficit disorders (ADD/ADHD), Down Syndrome, hearing, visual and speech impairments, brain injuries, impairments cause by strokes and ageing challenges.
Learn unique tools for assessing individual’s needs. Develop a repertoire of specific ways to support them in developing positive and measurable changes, whether physical, cognitive, behavioral and emotional. This course is geared towards all types of learners and can be taken as a first Brain Gym course, or to deepen and expand you understanding, skills and tools if you already have Brain Gym experience.
Cecilia Koester, MEd., is author, with Gail Dennison, of I Am The Child: Using Brain Gym With Children Who Have Special Needs (1998, 2010) and Movement Based Learning for Children of All Abilities (2006). She has been in the field of Special Needs as a classroom teacher and private consultant for over thirty years. Cece is a licensed Brain Gym Consultant who has developed and teaches the Brain Gym for Special Education Providers workshop. She proudly offers a Teacher Training Program for Special Education Providers.
