“When I came to Michelle, I was suffering from bursitis in my elbows, and shoulders. I was in a lot of pain and my quality of life was affected. Because I was no longer able to enjoy activities such asweights and running, my emotional health was also affected. I was advised by my doctor to try yoga as an alternative. A friend recommended Michelle’s beginner class. I have learned so much from Michelle and about the human body and how yoga truly helps improve my daily life, physically and emotionally. It was not always easy, and I almost gave up several times. But by continuing to go to class, I was motivated by the results and by Michelle’s positive attitude about the benefits of yoga. As an avid runner I also recently developed tendentious of the hip. The pain was unbearable and made walking or going up stairs very difficult. With Michelle’s help and her teaching me about hip therapy, my pain is no longer and I am able to return to normal exercise activities. “Just so you know: The two weeks did make me happy! I had a yoga glow all day long at work and that delicious achiness that comes with stretching unfamiliar muscles. This class was also instrumental in getting me back onto the mat. I needed the daily continuity of it to remind myself how good I feel (mentally and physically) when I move my body and to make it an essential part of my day – rather than just something I do when I can get to a class.
